Career Shop Eligibility Requirements:
To receive professional attire from the Professional Attire Closet, students must be participating in a career-related event, such as a career fair, professional networking event, interview, or Careers in Action trip. To qualify, students must complete the following steps prior to the event:
- Schedule and complete a meeting with their assigned Career Coach through Navigate 360.
- Complete the TypeFocus assessment.
- Create a Handshake account using their Prairie View A&M University email.
- Have their résumé reviewed and approved by their Career Coach.
Professional attire is provided only for students who demonstrate need and are preparing for a career-related event. Completing these steps ensures students are fully prepared to take advantage of the opportunity.
